Questions about your results
Our reception team are not qualified to comment on your results. We also operate to a strict confidentiality and data protection policy and results may only be released to the person the result relates to, you may however give prior permission for release to someone else.
Scan & X-ray results
Ultrasound Scan Results and X-Ray Reports are received into the practice via a secure online portal and downloaded into the clinical system by a member of the reception team. These are then sent as a scan task to the GP for viewing. The GP will either mark as satisfactory and file into your patient record or instruct the reception team to contact you to make an appointment. Results are usually received within 7 working days. Occasionally the practice may receive the result earlier if the radiographer feels the result should be processed quickly, again either the GP or a member of the reception team will contact you to make an appointment.
