How to make an Appointment
To book an appointment please call us at 8am ( Mill Road) or 8.30am (Cherry Hinton). All incoming telephone calls are triaged, to ensure you receive the best solution to your request. This might mean the GP will call you back and conduct an assessment of your problem - if you require a face to face appointment the GP will arrange this with you at the end of the call. The receptionist is also able to now make some face to face appointments for you by following a protocol approved by the GP. We routinely protect slots for each day to allow the GP to call patients in on the day if this is needed. We ask you to be polite and patient with our reception team who will need to ask you some questions when they speak to you. Due to the volume of calls coming in and out of the practice you may find the lines are busier than normal so we ask you leave the early morning and afternoon periods free to allow for patients calling for urgent help to get through. Nursing appointments are available to book through the reception team so please continue to call for your routine testing i.e. dressings, smears, injections blood tests etc. We request that you continue to us a face covering to attend the surgery.please arrive wearing a face mask.
